Welcome to the second day of our September Release Blog Hop.
Isn't this month's release amazing. There are so many wonderful products. I decided to create some non holiday themed projects: a layout and a card.
For my layout I decided to use the Halftone nesting stars die set. I cut out stars using my large big shot which can take a 8.5*11 inch sheet of paper. I then picked out a patterned paper from the Relfection Scrapbook collection and placed it beneath. A couple of white stars popped onto some foam dots add dimension and detail.
My second project is a card using the Coffee with a Spalsh stamp set. I started by stamping and embossing one of the stamps. I used the Altenew Antique Gold embossing powder and the blended some pink ink over the top. (Cherry blossom oval ink set).
There is so much inspiration to come. Our DT members and guests have created amazing projects.
For a quick run through of all of our new sets please check out the video over on YouTube.

I love the half tone stars-I already have the circles…am trying to decide if I can “get away with” using those to create or if I’ll have to break down and buy the stars. Fun card by Kristina Werner!
Love the Coffee with a Splash card & envelope, gorgeous colors!
Lots of ideas to use to make cards!
Such a great release, I especially love the halftone star set, gorgeous!

Nice layout and card! Those cut out stars look great with the interesting paper behind them.
Oh, just adoring the A. A. Milne (“Winnie the Pooh”) quote! You’ve inspired me to use my typewriter for my next card. And stars are my fave. Thank you so much for the creative boost!
What a fantastic release! I don’t have time to scrapbook, but love seeing all the layouts as inspiration for possible future projects!
