Hello, everyone and welcome to our December Guest Designer post!
Well do we have a treat for you today, we have the lovely Paige Evans for our December Guest Designer and she will sharing an amazingly beautiful project. So here are what she has for us today:
Hi there! A little bit about me… I'm mom to Fox and Jane and wife to Chris. We recently celebrated our 10th anniversary! We just moved back to the USA after being stationed in Germany for 4 years and we're currently living near Seattle! I love scrapbooking, teaching, and traveling and share all things crafty and colorful on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and my blog!
So onto Paige's glorious layout:
On another of the beautiful Our Family patterned papers (one with splotches of watercoloring), I used the Floral Drape stencil to add modeling paste as a textured layer on the background.
Then I cascaded the feathers down the left side using dimensional adhesive. Next I die cut the Leafy Garland Die from white textured cardstock, added some Our Family Enamel Dots on top for a pop of color, and then layered it over my photo and onto the layout overlapping the feathers and modeling paste flowers.
I die cut the title “mykonos” using the Calligraphy Alpha Die and glued them around the curve of the feathers.
I felt like it was pretty empty underneath the photo so I used the Floral Shadow Stamps and Sea Glass Dye Ink to stamp the leaves for another layer. To finish, I wrote my journaling at the bottom.
Wow! How stunning is Paige's layout? We absolutely loved it! We hope you enjoyed Paige's project as much as we do. Also make sure to visit Paige’s Blog to see more and don’t forget to leave her some love.
Thank you so much, Paige, for being our December Guest Designer and sharing your talents with us today! It was such a lovely treat to gaze at your gorgeous layout.
