Stamped Cake Toppers
Hello and welcome to the Altenew Scrapbook Blog. It’s me, Sandra, and I’m sharing a cute do-it-yourself inspiration.
Stamps are great for making handmade embellishments for scrapbook layouts. However, I would like to show you that the layered stamps from Altenew are also perfect for other paper crafting projects. So why not make some cute cake toppers for your next birthday party decoration? I’m sure they will put a smile on your guests’ faces.
What you’ll need:
- white cardstock,
- the two stamp sets,
- ink pads and embossing powders in different colors,
- wooden toothpicks,
- decorative ribbon and
First, stamp cakes, a cactus, and different sentiments onto white cardstock. Second, add some embossed details for more fun. In addition, you can use watercolors to color the images. Then cut the images with the coordinating dies or your scissors. Next, adhere the toothpicks to the back of the cake toppers. I used a small piece of cardstock, added some double-sided tape and glued down the toothpicks onto the back of the cardstock.
And then just add the cake toppers to your delicious treats. The great thing is that the toppers are reusable. Just store them in a box and save them for your next party.
I hope you like my DIY inspiration.
Have fun creating today.
