Make a stamped treat box with the Sketchy Floral Stamp Set from Altenew.
Stamped Treat Box
Hello and welcome to the Altenew Scrapbook Blog.
It's me, Sandra, and I'm sharing a new do-it-yourself inspiration with you today.
When you visit a friend, you might want to bring them a little gift. Flowers and sweets are my first choice. And I always like to give them something handmade to go along with the flowers or sweets.
What you'll need for this stamped treat box:
I purchased some blank small pizza boxes a while ago. Since the inside is coated, they are food safe. When I went through my Altenew stamp stash, the Sketchy Floral Stamp Set fell into my hands. And I thought that the flower sentiment from the stamp set is just perfect for decorating the box. I used the following supplies to make this project:
- blank box (food safe),
- Sketchy Floral Stamp Set,
- permanent black ink (Permanent Black Crisp Ink),
- watercolors and
- cookies
Open the box and lay it flat on the table. Use the stamp set and stamp the floral sentiment onto the box. Then watercolor the flowers and the leaves with bright colors. Finally, fold the box and put the cookies or other sweets inside.
I'm sure your friend will appreciate the time and effort you've put into making this lovely, handmade project.
I hope you like my DIY stamped treat box inspiration.
Today's project might also go along with the Stamped Cake Toppers I shared earlier this month here on the Altenew Scrapbook Blog.
Have a wonderful day!
Yours,
Sandra
