Let's have some stamping fun together today. Create your own unique background for scrapbook layouts with the Watercolor Dots Stamp Set and the Dream Big Stamp and Die Bundle. And then add some fun highlights with a stamped title (Wish Big Stamp Set), some handmade stamped embellishments, and stitched details.
Stamping Fun on Scrapbook Layouts
When I started the layout, I had the photo, white cardstock and three stamp sets from Altenew on my desk. I looked at the photo and figured that, in addition to black and white, the two dominant colors are blue and red. So I grabbed a blue and red marker from one of Altenew's Artist Markers Sets (Artist Markers Set C) and colored in the dots of the Watercolor Dots Stamp Set. Then, I stamped onto white cardstock. Afterward, I added some of the smaller sentiments from the stamp set as highlights. This is a simple yet nice way of turning white cardstock into your own fun patterned paper.
Butterflies and Stitched Details
In the next step, I arranged the photo and the handmade patterned paper on the 12×12 page. To make the page look more whimsical, I added five stamped butterflies and three paper flowers from my stash in different spots of the layout. In addition, my sewing machine was really helpful for adding stitched accents with blue sewing thread. Afterward, I stamped the title “wish BIG” underneath the photo with black ink. Finally, I used the Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray to add some shiny golden splatters.
I hope you like my scrapbook layout inspiration. Why not try to add some stamped and stitched details onto your next scrapbook pages?! It's fun and you can add nice visual details to your project.
