How to Create a Clipboard Scrapbook Panel

by Kymona Tracey

Hello, everyone!

Kymona here to show you how to create a clipboard scrapbook panel.

I have to admit, if I haven't done so already, I'm in love with all of the non-traditional ways I've been scrapbooking lately. It is fun and definitely interesting. Great conversational pieces placed in my home.

Today is no different! On the hunt for a different piece to scrapbook on, I discovered this clipboard wood panel and bought it right away.

Let's take a look:

Reflection Scrapbook Collection

For this layout, I used patterned paper and stickers from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection Kit.

Here's how to create a Clipboard Scrapbook Panel:

Choose a piece of patterned paper from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection Kit.

Reflection Collection PaperCut the patterned paper to the same size of the clipboard panel.

So that the paper fits neatly on the panel, cut around the clipboard and slide the paper completely under it.

Reflection Collection PaperUse a bone folder and score the paper where the wood panels had lines. This will give the same texture and look as the blank wood panel.

Reflection Collection PaperNow it's time to add your photo and other embellishments. Clip the photo to the clipboard. To raise the photo, add two pieces of foam tape under it.

Note: Do not take off the foam tape backing. You do not want the photo to stick permanently.

Reflection Collection CutsAdd a sentiment on the photo using Reflection Collection Die Cuts.

Reflection Collection Chipboard Stickers SheetTo finish off the piece, add the reminding Reflection Collection Chipboard Stickers.

You can switch out the photos accordingly.

Let's take another look:

So, what do you think? Will you create a clipboard scrapbook panel? I would love to hear from you!
