Floral Layout with Life Is Awesome Stamp Set

Hello, scrappy friends! It's Zinia here and today I'd like to share with you the latest layout I created using some of my favorite stamp sets from the July 2018 Stamp and Die Release.

I started by stamping and die-cutting a ton of flowers from the Life Is Awesome Stamp Set. This is one of my all-time favorite sets as I absolutely love that abstract painterly look of the flowers. I used a variety of Crisp Dye Inks for my layered stamping, keeping my color palette very fresh and bright.

To compliment my colorful flowers, I also stamped some outline images in black and die-cut them as well. The stamp set I chose for that was Build-A-Flower: Coral Charm since it has the most gorgeous outline flower images. Once all my stamping was done, it's time to start assembling the page.

Before adhering anything down, I stamped a few stars at the top corners of my page, using the Kind Words Stamp Set and Soft Lilac ink for a very subtle effect. I also used my Soft Lilac Ink Spray to add a few splatters in the same area.

I used all my colorful flowers and some of the leaves' outlines to create a floral drape design coming from the top of the page. And then I used some more of the outline images to create a cluster around my photo and I placed it in the middle of the page.

Instead of a title, I decided to add a quote on this layout again from the Kind Words Stamp Set. It seemed perfect for this page.

That's basically all about it. I didn't use any fancy techniques – just plain regular stamping to highlight the beautiful designs of the stamp sets without any distractions. I really love the simple design and the minimal look this layout page has.
