Hello, Altenew fans!
It's Zinia here with another bright and fun scrapbook layout idea. For this design, I'm using one of my favorite Altenew stamp sets, Floral Art. I really love the abstract and artsy look of this stamp set so I decided to take it to the next level by pairing it with some messy coloring using the new Watercolor 36 Pan Set.
I started by stamping my floral outlines in Permanent Black Ink. I knew I was going to add watercolors on top so I wanted to make sure I used a waterproof ink. I used the medium watercolor palette to smoosh some inks and water them down so I can use them as watercolors. I added a very light layer of watered-down inks just as a base. Then I pulled my Watercolor 36 Pan Set to build up more layers.
Once my flowers were dry, I die cut them with my Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine and they were ready to go.
To assemble my page, I added a strip of coral cardstock at the side of my layout and then I used the Floral Shadow Stamp Set to add a little bit more interest to my background. I stamped the images in a light gray color on top of the white cardstock and with Coral Bliss Crisp Dye ink on top of the coral piece.
Then I just built up my floral cluster along the line that the two cardstock colors meet and finished off the page by adding a photo and a title.
