Hello, Altenew fans!
It’s Zinia here with another bright and fun scrapbook layout idea. For this design, I’m using one of my favorite Altenew stamp sets, Floral Art. I really love the abstract and artsy look of this stamp set so I decided to take it to the next level by pairing it with some messy coloring using the new Watercolor 36 Pan Set.
I started by stamping my floral outlines in Permanent Black Ink. I knew I was going to add watercolors on top so I wanted to make sure I used a waterproof ink. I used the medium watercolor palette to smoosh some inks and water them down so I can use them as watercolors. I added a very light layer of watered-down inks just as a base. Then I pulled my Watercolor 36 Pan Set to build up more layers.
Once my flowers were dry, I die cut them with my Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine and they were ready to go.
To assemble my page, I added a strip of coral cardstock at the side of my layout and then I used the Floral Shadow Stamp Set to add a little bit more interest to my background. I stamped the images in a light gray color on top of the white cardstock and with Coral Bliss Crisp Dye ink on top of the coral piece.
Then I just built up my floral cluster along the line that the two cardstock colors meet and finished off the page by adding a photo and a title.

I love your layout, the colours, the seeming simplicity, and the balance. Beautiful.
Absolutely stunning page! Love the ‘messy’ watercolors, and that coral pop and ghosted leaves make it pop. Hope that stamp set comes back in stock soon!
