Welcome to the September 2018 Holiday Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. If you have hopped over from Paige Evans‘s blog, then you are right on track. The full blog hop list can be found at the end of this post.
I created several projects with the new products. My first one is a layout which doesn't have a holiday theme to it. I wanted to show that some of the holiday stamps can be used for scrapbooking everyday moments. Using the same color combination, I created a couple of Christmas cards as well.
For my layout, I used the Bountiful Branch Stamp Set and used yellow, blue, and green shades to create a stamped background.
I created some embellishment pieces using the Dot Labels Stamp and Die Set as well as the Circled Sentiments Stamp and Die Set. I used the same inks that I used for the branches. This keeps everything cohesive. For the title, I used the For All Seasons Stamp Set and paired it with a tiny bit of journaling. For the patterned paper, I used the paper pad from the Celebrate You Kit.
You can see how the layout came together in the video below or watch it in HD on YouTube.
For my cards I used:
On the first card, I embossed the tree from the Starry Night Stamp Set and added several rows of trees using the Creative Edges -Evergreen Die.
For the next card, I stamped three stockings using the Christmas Stockings Stamp Set and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
How cute are those stockings?! Even non-conventional colors work great with them!

Hi Lilith! I love the way you coordinated your blog post with the yellow, green and blue colors 🙂 I have to confess I’m much more of a traditionalist when it comes to holidays but I’m working on breaking some of those choices! It’s good to know that some of the pieces in the release can be used for everyday moments too 🙂
Love the choice of colours!
Thanks for the newest release, the fun hop, and the great giveaway!! My favorites of the release are the Cozy Flannel Cover Die and the Mini Christmas Stamp Set.
Thanks for sharing all your wonderful creations!
Beautiful
Am in love with your holly layout And your cards are gorgeous as well!!
I believe I like the Starry night stamp set the best. It seems very versatile. They all looked like fun.
Love your beautiful layout especially!
Amazing how something for Christmas changes when you use different colors
Lovely layout and cards!!
A wonderful release! The Starry Night stamp is a Winner!
Your layout page is gorgeous! I absolutely love the bountiful branch done in those spring colours. Such a wonderful combination of colours too. Definitely inspires me to think outside the box. Just because something is traditionally for Christmas doesn’t mean you can’t use it for a something totally unrelated. Really makes your stamps and dies so much more versatile.
I love that yellow and blue used with the Bountiful Branches stamp set. So refreshing to see it on a summer page. I love that stamp set
So beautiful! My favorite brand of stamps!
Very beautiful
