Hi, everyone! Reiko here and today I have a tutorial on how to create a wooden frame embellishment with the Sweet Friend Stamp Set. I started with the Birch Wood Sheet and used the Sweet Friend Stamp Set to make a wooden frame which is perfect for both scrapbook layouts and mini albums to showcase your pictures.
Using the Dark Chocolate Crisp Dye Ink, I stamped the frame image on the Birch Wood sheet. I was able to cut the frame in perfect shape with the coordinating die – Sweet Friend Die.
You might want to use a lighter brown color ink or simply black ink here. It will be fun to find good effects with different colors or materials when we are creating something new.
The Birch Wood sheet is not a fake printed paper, but it is made out of real wood. It is easy to cut with a die-cut machine or paper trimmer.
I printed a picture in a smaller size to fit the frame and put pop-up stickers underneath to make it look more like a real wooden frame.
I used this wooden frame in my project for the latest release blog hop and I really liked it.
Thanks for stopping by the Altenew Scrapbook Blog and taking a look at what we are creating. Hope I was able to inspire you to explore new ideas.
