I love my Altenew Artist Markers. They were my first set of markers and in the beginning, I didn’t know how to use them but NOW I love using them. For today’s blog hop I created a layout. I wanted it to be bright and colorful. The Artist Markers were perfect.
HOW TO:
HOW TO:- Stamp the image of your choice with Permanent Black Ink and let it dry for at least 30 minutes. I have noticed that if I let it dry for a longer time I don’t have any issues with bleeding.
- Pick a rainbow of colors and color your images.
- Cut them out with the coordinating dies.
- Create your layout/card.
I used the Leaf Canopy Stamp and Die Set.
One of my markers was nearly completely dry. In the video below (which you can also watch in HD on YouTube), you can see how I filled it up. It is really easy to do. You can also see how I created the leaves for my layout.
I used some stickers from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection as embellishments for my layout and the alphabet stickers came from the same collection.

Lovely Card. What is the best paper to use with the Artist Markers? I have tried Neenah 80lb and bristol smooth but the colors do not blend properly and become all splotchy. Please let me know. I have all 3 sets of the markers but i am unable to make full use of them.
