Gift Tags with Washi Tape
Hello! Welcome to the Altenew Scrapbook Blog. It's me, Sandra, and I would like to show you how to create stylish gift tags with washi tape. And the best thing is, it only takes a few simple steps to create the tags.
To make the gift tags, you will need the following supplies:
- White Cardstock
- Gilded Ombre Washi Tape
- Rose Filament Die Set & Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine
- patterned papers (for instance from the Our Family Collection or the Celebrate You Kit)
- Inked Flora Stamp Set
- Black Ink
- Acrylic Block
- some thread, black baker's twine, a pair of scissors & a small hole punch (alternatively: a tag die)
How To:
First, grab some white cardstock. Second, adhere the Gilded Ombre Washi Tape (or any other washi tape that you like) onto the white cardstock. Third, cut three gift tags (either by hand or with a tag die). Fourth, die cut roses from the Rose Filament Die Set. Fifth, stamp some sentiments from the Inked Flora Stamp Set onto white cardstock. Then cut the white cardstock with your scissors. Sixth, glue down the die-cut roses with liquid glue. Next, add some thread and attach the titles onto the tags.
Furthermore, here is a TIP for you. I used foam pads to adhere the stamped titles onto the tags. And the foam pads will make sure that the thread stays on the tags.
Last but not least, pull a string of black yarn through the hole at the top of the tag. This will add a nice visual contrast.
I hope you like my DIY gift tag inspiration. It's so easy to create stunning gift tags with washi tape. And I'm sure the tags will make your presents even more special. Now have fun creating!
Xoxo,
Sandra
