Hello and welcome to the Altenew Scrapbook blog! It’s Reiko here today and I’m here for a special Stamp Focus blog post. The Handpicked Bouquet Stamp Set is a brand new floral layering stamp set which features a beautiful, sweet rose bouquet.
I’ve created THREE projects using this stamp set. Hope my projects inspire you!
1. Shabby Chic 12-inch scrapbook layout
For this scrapbook layout, I used only the outline stamp from the stamp set. First, I painted a 12×12 White Cardstock by using pale blue acrylic paint. Then, I stamped the large flower with black ink before the acrylic paint dried out.
I really like this shabby chic effect with white, pale blue, pink, and gold. These colors represent my peaceful but fabulous life with my two girls.
2. Making a translucent flower embellishment
Here is another project which is an embellishment for a mini book. First, I stamped the flower image using the Permanent Black Crisp Dye Ink on a thin translucent sheet – one with the Peach Gold Washi Tape, and one with the Dotted Washi Tape.
Under the translucent sheet, there is a white paper. But it really looks just like a clear sheet. The Permanent Black Ink sort of sits on this kind of translucent sheet and washi tape combination.
Then I die cut it using the coordinating Handpicked Bouquet Die Set.
This is clearer than vellum paper and I like the way I can see through the paper underneath.
3. Simple bookmark with Washi Tape
I made a simple bookmark for my journal. This bookmark is thicker than a simple paper so it can be used for a long time.
Hope you were inspired to create something with the Handpicked Bouquet Stamp Set!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!
