Hello, Altenew fans, it’s Zinia here and today I’m back with a mixed media layout design using Altenew’s Watercolor Brush Markers and coordinating Crisp Dye Inks.
First, I used the Inked Rose Stamp Set to add some images to my background. I stamped the flower and leaves in Sea Breeze, Dusk, Rubellite, and Midnight Violet following a gradient order from one color to another.
Then I picked the same colors of Altenew’s Watercolor Brush Markers and I started coloring in the flowers. I used the Altenew Watercolor Palette to mix and dilute my colors so I can highlight the gradient effect even further.
To complete my background, I added splatters using Altenew Ink Sprays in coordinating colors.
To complete my layout, I embellished it with some fussy-cut pieces of the Monochrome Washi Tape and a couple of chipboard pieces from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection.

Very pretty!!
This creates a beautiful background. I would use the idea on a card since I don’t scrapbook! Love it!
