Hello, crafty friends! I can't believe Christmas is two days away! Enza here, and today I'm showing you how to create quick and easy winter gift tags to pretty up your gift wrapping.
Since time is very limited this time of the year, finding ways to incorporate handmade touches that can be quickly mass-produced is a must for me. With the right products, the process can be not only efficient but also fun.
Let's get started!
For the first gift tag, I used the gorgeous Layered Snowflakes Die Set.
The Enchanting Washes 6×6 Paper Pack has beautiful blues and purples that are perfect for the winter theme I was going for. I trimmed the tag to measure 3″ x 5.5” and added some sparkly dots with the Tiny Bubbles Stencil and glitter paste. Next, I die cut the snowflakes and layered them, alternating lighter and darker shades. I foam mounted the bottom layer before adhering it down and finished it with a purple enamel dot from the Our Family Enamel Dots pack.
The sentiment comes from the Holiday Script Words Die. I die cut it several times, once from patterned paper and twice from a 110 lbs white cardstock, just to give it some thickness. I finished the look with purple enamel dots.
The second tag features the Build-A-Flower: Poinsettia Set.
To keep the same color scheme, I used the newer Crisp Dye Inks for the layers: Wisteria, Hydrangea, Ultraviolet, and Andromeda. For the last layer, I opted to also heat-emboss it with Translucent Pearl Crisp Embossing Powder, just to give it some sparkle.
I cut the gift tag from patterned paper included in the Pastel Dreams 6×6 Paper Pack, then die cut the stamped poinsettia. To create an extra layer, I cut an additional one from white vellum and placed it behind the stamped image, slightly offset. Foam dots were used to adhere it down.
The sentiment comes from the same stamp set and was heat-embossed as well. To finish the gift tag, I added some bubbles with glitter paste in the top portion.
More enamel dots finished the tag.
Thank you for stopping by today. I love how these tags turned out and hope I have inspired you to make some of your own with some gorgeous Altenew products!
