Hello, Altenew fans! Enza here, and today I’m bringing you a new layout featuring three of the gorgeous 6×6 Paper Packs that have been recently released.
My idea for this layout was to just focus on patterned paper and use stamping sparingly. The colors and patterns of these papers are gorgeous and very versatile, allowing for masculine as well as feminine pages, cards or tags – they truly are a must-have in your stash.
Let’s see how it came together!
I started with a floral cut file, which was enlarged to take up almost the whole page. I love the different sizes of the flowers; their round shape is pretty and somewhat whimsical. I used papers from the Pastel Dreams and Enchanting Washes Paper Packs to back the flowers, while for the leaves, I used a mix of green ones from the Verdant Walk Paper Pack.
Once the cut file was ready, I positioned it towards the right side of the page and adhered it down with foam tape for dimension. I also used foam adhesive behind the photo, after matting it with textured white cardstock.
At this point, I felt like I needed an extra element of interest to make the layout a bit more special, so I cut some extra leaves using the Rose Filament Die Set and tucked them behind flowers and photo. I also decided to fussy cut the pretty little flowers from one of the papers in the Pastel Dreams Paper Pack and added them here and there around the cut file.
For the sentiments, which are the only stamped elements on this page, I used the Leaf Medallion Stamp Set. Instead of stamping them on plain cardstock, I opted to use patterned paper as my base – I think it creates continuity within the page and brings all the colors together.
Enamel dots from the Red Cosmos set and hearts from Sweet Hearts Adhesive Wood Veneers pack finished the layout.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have found some inspiration and will consider making these gorgeous Paper Packs part of your craft supplies.
