Hello everyone and welcome to a new day with more creative inspiration. I love using planners and have always been using store bought ones but there was always something missing or something wrong. I decided to make my own one and used my Altenew stash to create some fun planner pages. I usually create two to three months' pages at a time. Important dates are also on my phone so I add them as I move along.
Below you can see one of my spreads using the Painted Fantasy Washi Tape. I popped the washi tape on some cardstock and cut out the floral shapes. They add detail and make the page pretty without it being too busy.
For February, I went with the same idea but used the Pastel Strokes Washi Tape. Instead of writing the month, I used the Chipboard Alphabet Stickers from the Our Family Scrapbook Collection.
I continued the theme of the striped tape through the spreads of the weeks just adding some torn pieces here and there. I also added some stamps from the 365 Stamp Set which is perfect for planners like this.
Each month has an intro page. Sometimes I draw and, for March, I decided to pick out a stamp and color it in with some colored pencils. I don't have any fancy pencils but I really loved creating this page. It reminded me of my coloring sessions as a child. I would color for AGES.
I used the Needlework Motif Stamp Set, a set that I hadn't used before. Now that I have got the coloring bug, I think I'm going to have to invest in some coloring pencils.
You can watch how I created some of the February spreads and the March intro page in the video below or watch it in HD on Altenew's YouTube Channel.
This year, my planner really suits me and I'm enjoying all the planning and getting the most out my supplies.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
