DIY Embellishments with Floral Elements Stamp Set and Bride-To-Be Stamp Set

by Reiko Tsuchida

Hello friends! It's Reiko here and for today's post, I've created DIY handmade embellishments using the Floral Elements Stamp Set and the Bride-To-Be Stamp Set. I always want to use my spare time effectively so I try to make small embellishments whenever possible.

I often use these floral clips on my mini books or flip flap books. When I have time, I just stamp flowers with my favorite inks and adhere them on colored paper clips by using glue dots and washi tape. You only need a few minutes to make them!

For the next one, I use crepe paper and doilies.

First, gather one end like in the picture above and make a circle.

Then, adhere the three of them together.

I learned how to make this tag album from the one and only scrapbooking magazine in Japan – ‘Love My Memories Plus'. The #10 edition of the magazine, which was published last December, featured Altenew stamps and inks. I was so excited to read tutorials using Altenew products in the magazine!

‘Play with Stamp!' – This tag album was designed by Emi Kume.

For the front page, I added some colored pencil details on the floral stamped images. This is another fun way to create something new.

That’s all for today! Thank you so much for visiting the Altenew Scrapbook Blog. I hope you enjoyed reading about my process and will feel inspired to try making your own embellishments.
