Hello, Altenew fans! Enza here to share a new layout highlighting the gorgeous Prettiest Pomander Stamp Set.
The cluster of flowers and leaves in this set is perfect and allows for a variety of color combinations, which is always fun.
Let’s see how the layout came together!
I started by stamping each pomander with different shades of the same color, using the new Altenew Crisp Dye Inks:
- Baby Pink, Fuchsia, Magenta
- Iceberg, Eastern Sky, Ultramarine, Azurite
- Sunray, Chamomile, Marigold, Snapdragon
- Fresh Leaf.
I love how intense and vibrant these colors are! I stamped three of each color combo, as I wanted to create bigger clusters with them.
For my background, I sprayed a smooth white cardstock with Altenew’s Metallic Shimmer Ink Spray in Soft Lilac, concentrating on one side of the page. I then arranged the groups of pomanders to form a visual triangle. I felt like something was missing, so I used a cut file to back the clusters and create an extra layer, which in my opinion adds to the delicate look of the design.
I adhered everything down with foam tape to achieve dimension, making sure to let the outer leaves and flowers curve a bit inward for a natural look.
Once the background was ready, I matted the photo with white cardstock and a patterned paper from the Live Your Dream Scrapbook Collection. The sentiments in the Reason to Smile Stamp Set were perfect for this photo; I stamped a few, trimmed them to size and layered them on the left side of my picture, using foam tape only for a few of them so to create more movement.
Also from the Live Your Dream Collection are the blue and orange branches that I tucked under the cut files. A small tag at the top of the photo and a few more Soft Lilac splatters finished the layout.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope I have inspired you to use the Prettiest Pomander Stamp Set for your next scrapbook layout.
