March 2019 Tropical Fiesta Watercolor Brush Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

by Lilith Eeckels

Welcome to the Tropical Fiesta Watercolor Brush Markers Release Blog Hop. If you have hopped over from Kelly Latevola‘s blog, then you are right on track. This new set of Watercolor Brush Markers is a fabulous addition to the previous ones. The colors are super vibrant and so easy to use.

I created a really simple layout where I really wanted to focus on the background. I used the brush markers and some painter's tape.

@lilitheeckelsHow to:

  1. Mask off areas on your watercolor paper with masking tape.
  2. Add water to the background and then add some color using the brush markers. You can start by adding water to a palette and then using a separate brush if you are scared to use the watercolor brush itself.
  3. Let your background dry.
  4. Add some clear stickers from the Live Your Dream Collection. They work so well with the colors from this set.
  5. Add your photo, a title, and some journaling.

@lilitheeckels @lilitheeckelsYou can watch the whole process in the video below or hop over to YouTube to watch it in HD.
