Hello, everyone!
Kymona here to show you how to create a shaker notebook cover using the new Live Your Dream Chipboard Stickers and Die-Cuts Embellishments.
Let’s take a look at my shaker notebook cover:
I love how this cover looks. Totally created from embellishments! I love combining my love of paper-crafting and sewing so when I saw Paige Evans notebook cover, I knew I had to give it a try.
Here’s how I created this shaker cover:
I laid out all of the pieces from both embellishments packs on my sewing table.
Then I picked the pieces that I wanted to appear on the cover.
I placed the chosen pieces on a 6 x 6 piece of white cardstock. Then I drew boxes around each piece so that I could mark where the stitch lines go.
Now I’ll use this piece of cardstock as a guide to draw the lines on the plastic cover.
I used a colored thread to create contrast on the cover.
Next, I added sequins (or heart pebbles) in the pockets to create the shaker effect.
Once the boxes are full and the stitches are closed, I attached it to a piece of patterned paper to create the completed cover.
Bind the book using your bookbinding system.
Let’s take a closer look:
Super cute and unique notebook cover!

So, what do you think? Will you use the new scrapbook collection and create your own shaker notebook cover? I would love to hear from you!
