Hello, everyone! It’s Zinia here and today I’d like to share with you a fun project idea using one of Altenew’s Zodiac Constellation Dies. This can work as a great gift to a friend who loves the night sky and is obsessed with the galaxy trend.
I got a 6″ x 5.5″ frame which is perfect for the beautiful 6×6 Altenew papers. I went through the Celestial 6×6 Paper Pack and picked one of my favorite paper designs to use as my base and then I die cut the Aquarius Zodiac Constellation Die from the center of the paper. You can obviously do the exact same thing with any constellation you want.
To make sure my paper is stable and the die-cut corners don’t flip around, I backed it with a scrap piece of vellum. This is also necessary if you want to fill the stars as I did.
Next, I die cut the word “Aquarius” four times and stacked them together to create a more sturdy and dimensional piece.
I used gold enamel drops to fill the openings of the stars and then I sprinkled some white ink splatters using Altenew’s Pure White Ink Spray.
To finish assembling my project, I adhered the word on top of the constellation design and slipped the paper into the frame.
Hope you were inspired! Thanks for stopping by today!
