Hello everyone!
Kymona here to share a wooden panel decorated using the brand new Weekend Doodles Stamp Set.
I love this stamp set for all of the small florals that do not have to be colored in. I love that they look amazing in black and white or in black on cider wood.
Let’s take a look at my wooden panel piece:
I love stamping on wood and using it to scrapbook. It’s a blank palette that you get to decorate the way you want. It’s fancier than a frame and funkier than a traditional scrapbook layout.
This photo was taken last week when my daughter and I traveled to Atlanta for a crafting conference. The bonus part was spending time with my son. We do not get to see him often so that was a delight for my daughter and me.
Here’s how I decorated this panel with the Weekend Doodles Stamp Set:
I simply stamped the different flower stamps at the bottom of the panel using Permanent Black Ink.
I double stamped them to give each flower a shadow look. No need to be super perfect here.
Then I added a black thread to the panel and adhered the photo on top of it.
Once everything was placed, I stamped a small sentiment on both sides of the photo.
The last thing to do is die cut the hello die (from Fancy Hello Die) twice. I then adhered them together with liquid glue, then adhered it on top of the photo.
So, what do you think? Will you try scrapbooking on wood? I would love to hear from you!
