Hello, Altenew fans! Enza here, back to share a new layout highlighting the gorgeous Rose Spray Stamp Set. I love the delicate look of the roses and the lovely layers you can build with different colors.
I chose a wreath design, which is one of my favorites.
Let’s take a look at my process!
I started by trimming white smooth cardstock to measure 11” square. I then proceeded to stamp two images from the Weekend Doodles Stamp Set on opposite sides of the page, making them my starting point for the wreath.
The Crisp Dye Inks I used to stamp the roses and leaves are the following:
- Blue roses: Iceberg, Eastern Sky, Azurite.
- Purple roses: Wisteria, Hydrangea, Andromeda.
- Leaves: Firefly, Grass Field.
I layered the stamped images using foam dots to achieve dimension, making sure to alternate colors and shaping them to form the circle.
Once the wreath was ready, I added three Watercolor Butterfly Cardstock Stickers and some Rock Collection Enamel Dots all around.
I chose to tuck the photo underneath the roses on the right side, after matting it with patterned paper from the Live Your Dream Scrapbook Collection; then added three wooden hearts, on top of which I adhered gray enamel hearts.
The sentiment comes from the Weekend Doodles Stamp Set. I simply gave it a banner shape and tied twine on one side.
To finish the layout, I matted it with one of the papers in the Live Your Dream Collection; the colors matched perfectly the ones in the stamped images.
Thank you for stopping by today and taking a look at my layout. I hope I have given you some new ideas on how to use the Rose Spray Stamp Set.
Until next time!
