Hello everyone! Enza here with you to share a new layout featuring gorgeous Altenew products. Scrapbooking doesn't have to be complicated or time-consuming. Sure you might want to create layouts that are more artistic and detailed, but you can obtain an equally pretty page with just a stamp set and a few embellishments. Let me show you how I created this layout, which took less than an hour to put together.
The Bold Bunch Stamp Set is one of my favorites – I not only like how easy it is to layer the flowers, but also the variety of sizes and shapes.
Let's get started!
I started by stamping my images with lovely, summery shades of Altenew Crisp Dye Inks. This is the part that takes a while, as you have many shapes to work with. The fastest way is to use a stamping tool, which is also the best alternative when it comes to layering stamps.
I'm sure I've said it a million times before, but layering is the technique that works best for me and my style. I find that using cut files as a base layer for my layouts brings in interest and a more finished look. Here I used a floral one that I arranged in the bottom right corner of the page.
I matted my photo with white cardstock before placing it in the middle of the page and built several clusters all around it. Everything was adhered down with foam dots for dimension. I had fun combining the little flower buds with branches and foliage – so pretty!
Once those were done, I added sentiments from the Live Your Dream Scrapbook Collection, as well as three hearts from the Die-Cut Embellishments pack. My goal was to form a visual triangle.
Black ink splatters and date finished the page.
So, what do you think? Is this page pretty enough for you? I'm pleased with how it turned out, and, as I mentioned above, it took approximately an hour to complete.
I hope this has given you some inspiration today.
Have a lovely day!
