Stamp Focus: Sophisticated Wreath

Hello and welcome to a new Stamp Focus post featuring the Sophisticated Wreath Stamp and Die Set from Altenew. It’s me, Sandra. And I’m sharing a pretty mini album with a variety of stamped and die-cut decorative elements.

First, I folded a mini album from a 12″x12″ piece of patterned paper. Then, I started to decorate the cover:

How to Create a Mini Album Cover with Sophisticated Wreath Die:

For the cover, I created a shaker pocket. I used a piece of patterned paper as the base of the shaker pocket. Then I added a piece of white cardstock with a die-cut leaves element. The Sophisticated Wreath Die is perfect for this. Furthermore, I backed the white cardstock with the patterned paper. Next, I added some sequins onto the white cardstock. In a final step, I sewed a sheet of acetate foil onto the white cardstock with my sewing machine. To make the cover more playful, I added a few more details: I used one of the floral stamps from the Charming Doodles Stamp Set and colored in the petals with watercolor brush markers from the Tropical Fiesta Markers Set. Enamel dots and a die-cut leaf are finishing accents for the cover.

Throughout the album, I used a variety of stamped floral images and die-cut pieces. And I slipped in photos into the pockets at the bottom of the mini album.

The pockets at the bottom of the mini album are decorated with stamped sentiments. I used Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink to stamp the sentiments onto the pockets.

Adding a playful touch with the Sophisticated Wreath Stamp Set:

To decorate the inside pages of the mini album, I die-cut roses from patterned papers with the Rose Filament Die Set. This is one of my favorite die sets from Altenew because it’s perfect for adding a special and playful touch onto your projects.

Furthermore, you can add more interest if you combine enamel dots, alpha stickers, die-cut elements and stamped sentiments throughout your project.

Also, you can easily create embellishments by stamping sentiments and smaller floral elements onto white cardstock. And then die-cut these elements. The Sophisticated Wreath Stamp Set comes with some cute elements. Try to use these to decorate your projects.
