Kymona here to show you how to create a tea light gift box using the Live Your Dream patterned paper.
The Live Your Dream patterned paper is so vibrant and rich with design; you can't help but create gift packaging with it.
Let's take a look at my tea light gift box:
Beautiful project, right? A young lady I follow on YouTube created one, and I had to give it a try my way. Are you ready to be amazed at how easy these are to make?
Here's how I created these tea light gift boxes:
- Trim the cardstock to 7.75 inches by 5.25 inches.
- Score the long side (7.75): 3/4″ and 7″.
- Score the short side (5.25): 3/4″, 2.25″, 3″, 4.5″
On the short side, cut the short scoreline, second from the right. Cut the same line on the opposite side of the paper.
Now you have six squares that need to be pinched in to form the corner.
Your box should look like this when you are finished squaring the small squares. 
Now you have to distinguish the top of the box. Look for the two cuts you made at the beginning – that is the top of the box. 
Punch a window opening on top of the box. Just slide the paper to the base of the punch so that you know it's straight, and then punch.
It closes nicely and stays shut.
It's time to close up the side. I used glue dots. Add more glue dots to the remaining corners after you add the tea lights.
Decorate the top of the box. I used Altenew's Live Your Dream Die-Cut Embellishments. I love the hearts in this collection, but they are too big for this box, so I used a punch and made smaller ones. Adhere all of the pieces using foam tape.
Add four tea lights, and your gift is ready.
