Kymona here to show you how to create a tea light gift box using the Live Your Dream patterned paper.
The Live Your Dream patterned paper is so vibrant and rich with design; you can’t help but create gift packaging with it.
Let’s take a look at my tea light gift box:
Here’s how I created these tea light gift boxes:
- Trim the cardstock to 7.75 inches by 5.25 inches.
- Score the long side (7.75): 3/4″ and 7″.
- Score the short side (5.25): 3/4″, 2.25″, 3″, 4.5″
On the short side, cut the short scoreline, second from the right. Cut the same line on the opposite side of the paper.
Punch a window opening on top of the box. Just slide the paper to the base of the punch so that you know it’s straight, and then punch.
It closes nicely and stays shut.
It’s time to close up the side. I used glue dots. Add more glue dots to the remaining corners after you add the tea lights.
Decorate the top of the box. I used Altenew’s Live Your Dream Die-Cut Embellishments. I love the hearts in this collection, but they are too big for this box, so I used a punch and made smaller ones. Adhere all of the pieces using foam tape.
Add four tea lights, and your gift is ready.
Let’s take another look:
Such a super cute way to package a set of tea light candles and give as a gift.
So what do you think? Would you make a tea light gift box? I would love to hear from you!
