Stamp Focus: Precious Peony

Hello, Altenew friends! Nathalie here with a new Stamp Focus: Precious Peony stamp set. I love the soft details in the floral images of the stamp set and how easy you can color them. Let me show you what I have created with this lovely stamp set.

YOU ARE FABULOUS LAYOUT

I combined Altenew's Artist Markers to color the flower,  then added a bit of Rose Quartz Crisp Dye Ink to detail the Precious Peony images.  The flowers are the perfect complement to the sweet pictures of my goddaughter.

I stamped a few flower images with Moon Rock Crisp Dye Ink on the journal page, next added a bit of Rose Quartz ink, and finally layered the colored image atop them.

I stamped sentiments from the Tabbed and Botanical Silhouettes as part of the title and embellishments.  The following video will show you how this came together. Watch it here or on Altenew's YouTube channel.

Now let's look at a new idea with the stamp set.

“CONGRATS, YOU DID IT!” LAYOUT

This layout features sentiments from the Precious Peony Stamp Set. I stamped them repeatedly with inks from the Lapis Lazuli mini cube ink set to form the background.

For the title, I cut two labels using the Nesting Labels Die Set, then heat-embossed the sentiment from the Precious Peony Stamp Set.

I stamped one of the Precious Peony stamp set images with Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then, small leaf clusters from the Weekend Doodles Stamp Set were added to the floral image, then placed on the page.  I love how this page turned out.

FRIENDS FOREVER

For my last project, I used the Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set to detail the images of the Precious Peony Stamp Set. I chose contrasting colors that complemented each other.

The graphic background was cut using the Circle Quilt Cover Die from a piece of cardstock covered with the Gilded Ombre Washi Tape.

To finish the page, I added a touch of shimmer to the title with Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink and some embellishment wood veneers from the Sweethearts Adhesive Wood Veneers.
