Traditional New Year Envelopes feat. Sweet Moments 6×6 Paper Pack

by Reiko Tsuchida

Hello, Altenew friends! It's Reiko here today and I am sharing some traditional New Year envelopes created using the Sweet Moments 6×6 Paper Pack.

This marks the end and also the beginning of the year when we meet our relatives and close friends who are special to us. It is a tradition to give kids money in special envelopes to celebrate the New Year.

Sometimes we need to rush to find stores to get these envelopes, but I decided to make them by using my favorite scrapbook papers.

Thanks for joining me today, I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season. Happy crafting!

Wow! I didn’t expected that many of you need directions!

Here is the video > https://youtu.be/gokecSNWIQ4

Smaller envelopes are about 2″ by 3″.
Bigger envelopes are about “2.5 by 3 3/8”.

Hope I can add Eng Sub soon.

Have nice holidays!

I didn’t think to check out this side of the blog because I don’t scrapbook, but then I saw these while I was hopping along in the year in review card side. I had to stop all forward progress and come here to peek. I won’t ask because a few before me have left the request, so I’ll just follow the link you posted to the video. Okay, I’m watching the video and the first envelope auto closes! This is something new for me and I’m just a tiny bit amazed. How did that happen! I’m definitely checking this blog from now on!!!
