Welcome to another Stamp Focus blog post. Today's stamp that will be in the spotlight is the Warm Hugs Stamp Set. This 4 by 6 stamp set is perfect for any handmade project.
CAS Thank You Card
I created three projects for this post and the first one is a clean and simple thank you card. I used the Delectable Delights Oval Ink Set and stamped the base image on some white cardstock filling in the layered elements in darker shades.
You can see how the card was created in the video below or watch it in HD on YouTube.
Quick DIY Gift Tag
For my second project, I decided to create a quick DIY gift tag that I could pop on a future gift or even use on a layout. I combined Altenew's Dotted Washi Tape with florals cut out of the Floral Favor Stickers. I added two stamped sentiments from the Warm Hugs Stamp Set. A blue banner from the Live Your Dream Collection added the final touch.
Art Journal Page
My last project, which is my favorite, is an art journal page. I started by adding color to the background using the Sugarplums Crisp Dye Ink Set and then I stamped the Warm Hugs image in the middle; adding color to the image. As I was working on watercolor paper, I used a paintbrush and some water to blend the colors together to get a smoother finish.
One thing I always add to my art journal pages is cut-out images. I love it when elements overlap. I had a stamped flower laying around and so I cut it in half, adding it to both sides. Once again, I cut out some flowers from the Floral Favor Stickers.
To add a bit of detail, I doodled some scribbles on the pages and stamped some leaves from the Freeform Greenery Stamp Set.
I had so much fun creating this page and I had forgotten how much joy I feel when creating these art journal pages.
You can see how this journal page came together in the video below or watch it in HD on YouTube.
Thank you so much for joining me. I hope you were inspired to create with the NEW Warm Hugs Stamp Set. Happy scrapping!

Great versatile stamp set. Love the projects you created.
Great videos. I like the contrast of the simple card versus the free and open page design to show stamping possibilities.
