Hello, Altenew friends!
It is time for a new Stamp Focus post. This time, I am highlighting the NEW Zig Zag Floral Stamp Set. This fun and beautiful design will help you create unique pieces for your paper crafting projects. The soft zig-zag design is versatile and will add that special something to all your projects.
Let's transform the stamp from a background to a focal point in three projects.
STAMP A BACKGROUND
The fun zig-zag design in the Zig Zag Floral Stamp is unique, which makes backgrounds interesting and graphic. All you need is a very neutral color ink family – Rock Collection Mini Ink Cube Set – and masking paper.
First, use the lighter tones of ink to stamp the larger zig-zag floral to the page; then, use the next shade of ink to stamp the zig-zag detail to each of the flowers. Mask the flowers, and repeat the steps with the smaller flower. Use the middle shade inks to stamp the leaves onto the page – remember to mask the flowers first. Finally, use the darkest shade of ink to stamp the flower centers. Repeat the procedure to only the edges of the next page.
The neutral-but-unique florals are the perfect background for a rainbow. Use a washi tape – Sea Shore Washi Tape, Sweet Dreams Washi Tape, Rose Petal Washi Tape, and Tea Party Washi Tape – to create a rainbow style patterned paper. Use the paper to back the picture and create the title of the page (Simple Hello Die Set, Tall Alpha Die Set). Add a few phrase stickers to finish the page. Simple and fun!
For this layout, use the Zig Zag Floral Stamp Set to create embellishments for a scrapbook layout. Start by stamping the complete flower outlines with a rainbow of inks – Golden Sunset Mini Ink Cube Set, Warm and Cozy Mini Ink Cube Set, Tea Party Mini Ink Cube Set, Spring Bouquet Mini Ink Cube Set, Shades of Purple Mini Ink Cube Set, Lapis Lazuli Mini Ink Cube Set, Sweet Dreams Mini Ink Cube Set, Summer Afternoon Mini Ink Cube Set, Green Meadows Mini Ink Cube Set. Use the coordinating die to cut the stamped flower images.
To construct the layout, use the Color Wheel Die to cut two wheels from white cardstock. Back spaces of the die-cuts with pieces of gradient cardstock – Sea Shore Gradient Cardstock Set, Shades of Purple Gradient Cardstock Set, Cherry Blossom Gradient Cardstock Set, Red Cosmos Gradient Cardstock Set, Summer Afternoon Gradient Cardstock Set – and the Reflection Scrapbook Collection Papers.
Anchor the page by adhering a strip of Marsh Land Washi Tape to the cardstock and attach it to the page. Color block the flowers to the respective space in the color wheel die0cut. To finish the page, add a title – Live Your Dream Scrapbook Collection Die-Cut Embellishments – and enamel dots – Year-Round Enamel Dots.

So colorful, airy and soft. Now onto our last project.
STAMP A FOCAL POINT
For the last project with the Zig Zag Floral Stamp Set, I used all the layering steps to create a focal point for a card. First, stamp the flowers and leaves – Rose Petal Mini Ink Cube and Green Meadows Mini Ink Cube – and cut them with the coordinating die.
The key to making the cluster of flowers the focal point is to keep everything else neutral. Use the Script Words 2 Die Set to cut the “thanks” word three times from white cardstock. Stack and glue the die-cuts together and attach it to the card. Finish the card with the new Satin Gold Sequins.
I hope these project ideas inspire you to check out the new Zig Zag Floral Stamp Set for your next project.
