Hello and good morning! It's Reiko here with you today sharing a quick and easy DIY notebook decoration and some fun coloring idea by using Altenew's floral stamps. I am living in Japan, near Tokyo, and I'm staying at home with my family these days. I have plenty of time at home but at the same time, I also have plenty of chores that need to be done every day!

I bought a simple notebook from a dollar shop and decided to write down things that I want to keep doing to reach my life goals during these stay-at-home days. One thing I really want to do is to express my creativity in some way. It doesn't need to be something big like creating a gorgeous 12-inch scrapbook layout or a 12-page mini-book. Coloring can be one way of staying creative without any stress or hassle.
DIY notebook decoration:

To start coloring, I first stamped one of the Altenew's floral outline stamps. You can use any outline stamps, but I really recommend the Simple Beauty Stamp Set which has one big flower and one small flower bouquet outlines.

Using a pale blue or gray crisp dye ink, stamp the bouquet images. This is really great since I don't need to be a good painter or an artist to achieve such beautiful flowers.

Another thing I wanted to do is to practice lettering. I hope I can show you better lettering in the near feature!

That's it for this quick and easy DIY notebook decoration. I hope you all stay safe and have time to enjoy your creativity. Now you have some ideas of how you can use this amazing new stamp set!
Have a wonderful day!
