3 Creative Card Making ideas feat. Bergenia Builder Stamp Set

by Nathalie

Hello Altenew friends!

Today, I want to share 3 Creative card making ideas with the Bergenia Builder Stamp set.  This new stamp set is a perfect addition to your collection.  The delicate design in the blooms is perfect to add your special touch as you set to detail each of the images.  In addition, the stamp set comes with 8 sentiments that can easily set the tone of your card.   Though, i am not a card maker, I want to show you how the stamp can help you create beautiful cards easily.

The delicate flower bunch of the Bergenia Builder Stamp Set is perfect as the main focus of a card.   The Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder brings all the details of the flower to the vellum paper.     It is amazing what a bit of white gel pen can do to an image!  Try using a gel pen on the back of vellum to softly add color to vellum images…

The card panel –Watercolor Paper set A2 –  features a bit of a color wash – Artist Watercolor Pan set – that makes the details of the image stand out.   A few Antique Gold Sequins just add to the shine and texture of the panel.

To finish the card, a few strands of the new Metallic Thread Set are wrapped around the panel.   The simple sentiment comes from the same stamp set.  I fussy cut the image and added a bit of dimension behind it, so it pops from the card.  Simple and beautiful!

This card is simple and clean, but with a small touch of shine.  The Bergenia Builder Stamp Set is perfect to create simple and delicate backgrounds.  This time, i used ObsidianPigment ink to stamp around the edge of the card, then detailed the centers of the flowers with a gold pen.

The delicate card panel is nestled in the center of the card.  A strip of Gold Splatter Navy Washi tape create a frame around the panel.  The simple sentiment -from the Script Word Die Set-  and Satin Gold sequin just complement the clean design of the card.

The Bergenia Builder Stamp set not only features a large floral bunch, but also smaller images that you can use to create a one-of-a-kind bouquet.   This time, i am adding a flair of mixed media to the back of the bouquet to enhance the softly colored blooms ( Artist Marker set D, Artist Marker Set E).

The new Ink Blending tool is a perfect way to add color (Tranquility Mini Ink Cube Set)to the card panel.   For a bit of texture, i use the Feeling Dotty stencil and Embossing Paste. Then, i add a small bunch of Antique Gold Metallic Thread to enhance the flower bouquet.  You can watch these two last cards come together in the following video here, or in HD in the Altenew YouTube Channel, enjoy:
