3 Fun Paper Crafting Projects with the Circled Greetings Dies (THREE Videos!)

by Lilith Eeckels

Welcome, Altenew Fans. I love a good product that I can use on many projects in different ways.

In today's Die Focus blog post, I will be using the Circled Greetings Die Sets: LOVE, HUGS, and THANKS. I created a layout and two cards. These dies are so easy to use and make a big statement on any project.

Project 1:

Let's take a closer look at project 1 which is a card. This card is really super easy to whip together and if you are looking to create a quick card with an array of color, then this is the card for you.

@LilithEeckels

How to:
  1. Take a piece of white cardstock measuring 9.5 x 5.5, and fold it in half. Fold it open, and place the die on the front panel. Run it through your die cut machine.
  2. Take a second panel of cardstock measuring 4.25 X 5.5, and add two strips of Instant Rainbow Washi Tape.
  3. Add some butterflies cut out of the same washi.

Project 2:

These dies are perfect for cardmaking, but I really wanted to use one of them on a layout. I used the Circled Greetings Love Die to create a title. While I was making the layout, I decided to cut away the circled borders.

This layout is very simple. I picked a gorgeous patterned paper from the Celebrate Collection 12 X 12 Paper Pack. For added dimension and detail, I painted some leaves and flowers. I mimicked the floral images present in the amazing arrangement.

For my title, I used two LOVE sentiments which I placed to create a drop shadow look.  If you don't want to invest in separate dies, purchasing these Circled Dies gives you the best of both worlds as you can cut out the words.

Project 3:

My final project is a card. I did a round of test cutting before I started working on my projects and I had cut out the word THANKS. The size of the paper wasn't quite 4.25 by 5.5 so I popped a 6 X 6 patterned sheet of cardstock from the Celebrate Collection beneath it and added torn up pieces of washi tape from the Tea Party Washi Tape set.

Once again it is a simple card but I love how it turned out and I also managed to use up some scrap paper.

Aren't these dies such fun? Next on my list is a shaker card. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Happy Scrapping.
