Hello there!
Today, I want to share a few fun paper crafting ideas featuring the Amaryllis Stamp Set. This new stamp set is one you want to add to your collection. The design of the stamp is easy to layer, resulting in beautiful detailed flowers. The stamp set is so versatile, you can create fantasy flowers by just omitting a step or two. Let me show you a few ideas:
Create an Embossed Frame…
The fine outline of the Amaryllis flower is the perfect shape to create a decorated frame for all types of paper crafting. For this card, I am using the flower outline to bring detail and texture to the panel.
A bit of ink blending on the background (Cool Summer Night Mini Ink Cube set, Ink Blending tool) adds color. Instead of embossing ink, I am using Frayed Leaf Mixed Media Ink and Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder to create the detailed frame of the stamped Amaryllis.
The soft green shadow behind the embossed edge is the inspiration for the sentiment work. The Fancy For You die-cuts are layered so that they replicate the color shadow. A few Satin White Sequins complete the card.
Go Monochromatic…
Another fun paper crafting idea with the Amaryllis Stamp Set is to use it with a single color ink family.
A monochromatic approach is sure to bring the details of the stamp to focus. In this Traveler's Notebook layout, the soft blue tones of the flowers create a soft background for the picture, while the detailed Amaryllis flower die-cuts create a complementary cluster on the title page.
Using vellum softens the blue tones of the project. The paper also helps to add sentiment and build the title (Whimsical Flowers and Quotes Stamp Set) for the page without hiding the details of the flowers.
Go Multicolor…
One last idea to create a fun paper project with the Amaryllis Stamp Set is to use lots of color.
This time, I am using lots of vivid colors (check the supply list for all the color inks used) to bring life to the page. The colored and detailed Amaryllis stamped die-cuts create a wave of happiness on the page.
A bit of color in the background (Square Weave Pattern Stencil and Frayed Leaf Mixed Media ink) create a contrasting/complementary canvas for the flowers. The colors of the flowers are accented by the matching enamel dots that surround them. The simple title (We Stand with You Stamp set, Jet Black Mixed Media ink) completes the page. The following video will show you how the two traveler's pages come together; you can watch it here, or on the Altenew YouTube channel in HD:

I hope these inspire you to use the new Amaryllis Stamp set on a paper crafting project of your own. Cannot wait to see what you create!
XO
