Hello there everyone. It is Lilith with new crafting inspiration. In today’s post, I will be showcasing the Beautiful Bergenia 3D Embossing Folder. This is a new product at Altenew and these folders are amazing.
In today’s project, I wanted to show how you can use this 3D folder to create texture on a layout. Having layers and lots of embellishments is great and if you can add texture it will make the project even more interesting.
Once you run your paper and folder through a Die Cut/Embossing Machine, the paper will have a lovely embossed image with a crisp and deep impression. This is perfect when you want to add colour with a blending tool.
I used my Altenew Blending Tools and added two shades of colour to each of the embossed pieces of white cardstock A2 in size. I picked Aqualicious, Maple Yellow, Fushia and Hydrangea.
For extra detail, I used the same ink colours to create spatters on my white 12*12 paper. Once the splatters were dry I placed my two textures panels, the photo, a cluster of embellishments to the top and added a title.
You can see how the layout came together in the video below or watch it in HD on YouTube.
How would you use this embossing folder? I’d love to try out some other techniques.
Thanks for stopping by and happy scrapping.
