Crafting a Beautiful Scrapbook Layout using Kind Reminders Stamp set (+Video Tutorial)

by Nathalie

Hi there!

Nathalie with you today to show you how to craft a beautiful Scrapbook layout using the new Kind Reminders bundle.  This new stamp/die/ simple coloring stencil is beautiful and timeless.   The design on the floral images pairs nicely with the assortment of sentiments in the set.    In addition, you can use your favorite coloring techniques with this set!

Let me show you what I have created with this stamp/die/stencil set:

The soft gold embossed flowers ( Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder) provide softness throughout the page.   But the colorful flowers provide the color and movement for the design.

The new Kind Remiders Simple Coloring stencil helps to bring and detail each of the blooms in a short amount of time.  All you need are Altenew’s Crisp Inks (all the  color inks are available in the supply list), and an Ink Blending Tool.

Tips and Tricks:

The secret to getting the crisp stenciled images is  to start with a soft impression of the flower outline on the cardstock.  This will help positioning the stencil properly.   Also, small pieces of washi tape and sticky note paper help to mask the flower area before adding the ink.     To finish the floral, i stamp the outline once again with a darker color shade of ink.

I also use a soft impression of the Woven Stencil (Frayed Leaf Mixed Media ink and Evergreen Mixed Media ink) adds a nice contrast on the page.  I have created a video showing you how this page comes together.  You can watch it here or in HD in the Altenew YouTube Channel, enjoy:

I hope this inspires you to pull your Kind Reminders Stamp/ Die/Simple Coloring stencil in your next paper crafting projects.  You are going to love detailing the flowers with this bundle.  I am excited to see your projects!
