Clever stamping with two sets

by Lilith Eeckels

Have you ever wondered how to arrange your stamped images into circles? Measuring out can be time-consuming but Altenew has the perfect solution. Mandala Maker stamp set will not only help you create stunning mandala designs but will also help you plan out future projects easily. For this layout, I decided to use Bergenia Builder as it has pretty dainty flowers.

I wanted two circular floral designs in two opposing corners of my layout. To help me position the floral images, I used one of the circular guide stamps from Mandala Maker Stamp Set. I stamped the guide dots in a very subtle colour and then proceeded to stamp my images in embossing ink and adding white embossing powder.

Once I had heat set the stamped images, I pulled out some watercolour brush markers and started watercolouring. I'm really enjoying using peachy orange and blue tones so I picked out the following colours:

  • Orange Cream
  • Sunkissed
  • Rouge
  • Sea Breeze
  • Persian Blue
  • Lime
  • Moss

I created embellishments by stamping some separate images onto a panel and cutting them out with the coordinating dies.

Once I had coloured in all the images I put together my layout. You can see how it came together in the video below or watch it in HD on YouTube.

The Mandala Maker Stamp Set is the perfect addition to your crafting supplies.

Happy scrapping and stay safe.
