One Stamp Three Ways – Tranquility Rose

by Tania

Hi Friends,

Today I am sharing three projects that I made with the newly released Tranquility Rose Stamp Set that comes with a matching Die Set as well as a Simple Coloring Stencil Set for all the leaves, and flowers from the set. As this stamp set has a variety of images, it is possible to make many different kinds of projects with it!

Art Journal Page

For my first project, I made a mixed media art journal page. I made the background by doing an ink smooshing technique with inks from the Northern Shore Crisp Dye Ink Set that I watered down. I swiped my paper through the wet ink to get my wispy and cloudy background.

Stamp the sentiments from the set which is full of heartfelt words which are perfect for cards as well as memory keeping projects.

For my flowers I used the Small Ink Blending Tools and Stencils to create a variety of flowers. As I have said before, if you have a mess already on your desk, might as well make extra things!

For the last layer, I decide to add some Embossing Paste and sprinkled Antique Gold Embossing Powder over the wet paste and heat set it. I used the inks from the Martian Terrain Crisp Ink Dye Set.

I did the same with the leaves from the set, and didn't fill in the whole shape leaving some white space. For the leaves I used Nature's Wonders Crisp Dye Ink Set.

I also made a card using the same set and created the background using the brush pen from the Fineliner Pen Set and went over it with a white gel pen. I stamped the doodle flowers and die cut them twice from the same Stamp Set and colored it in using the Artist Marker Starter Set.

Fabric Gift Bag

For my final project, I stamped on a cotton bag I had which I think will make a perfect holder for a gift for a friend! I used the Mixed Media Inks to stamp the flowers and sentiments and using the matching stencil to color in the flowers and leaves! I used a white fabric pen to add in the centres of the flowers by hand.

Thank you for stopping by!
