Today, I want to share with you 3 colorful projects featuring Inspirational Quotes Stamp set. This is one of the new Altenew stamp releases, and it is just perfect for all sorts of paper crafting. Smile slim-line card
My first project is a simple colorful card. I love the floral swag of the Inspiration Quotes stamp set, and want it to use the movement of the design in this card. First, stamp two images on white cardstock using Obsidian Black Pigment ink. Then, fussy cut ( or die cut) the image, trimming one side of the leaves swag from the image. Finally use the trimmed leaves to bulk the leaves' groupings on the images.
I am using a slim line card style for this project. Here, I cut a panel from shimmer white cardstock, then trim paper strips from the Shades of Purple Gradient cardstock to 0.25″. Attach the strips on a diagonal to the panel, then attach the floral images with foam adhesive. Finish the card with a sentiment from the stamp set.
2. WORK Memory Keeping layout
Once again, I am using the floral image to frame the picture and journal lines in my layout. My choice is to color the stamped Inspiration Quotes flower image with Artist Markers set E, and Artist Markers Set D.
One image is placed as to frame the image, along with the title of the layout made with Enjoy The Ride's collection Chipboard Alpha; while the other creates a frame on the journaling portion of the page ( Enjoy the Ride collection 12×12 paper). The sentiments from the Inspiration Quotes stamp set create a great subtitle for the page, and the small Shades of Purple enamel dots add smalls pop of color .
3. So Grateful for You Memory Keeping layout
My last project showcases the Inspirational Quotes stamp set in a monochromatic and textural page. The small leaves images in the stamp set are perfect to create small Fall vignette on the background. First, I add color to white cardstock by blending inks from the Fall Harvest Crisp inks set, and Natural Wonders ink set with a small Ink Blending tool. Then, the leaves are heat embossed to the page with clear Embossing ink and Antique Gold Crisp Embossing powder.
In order to make the leaves the focus of the page, I am using the new Woodless Watercolor pencils to bring a deeper tone of the color. Little drops of Metallic Ink Spray in Antique Gold complete this page. You can watch a video on how I created this page here, or in HD in the Altenew YouTube channel:
