Make Your Own DIY Notebooks With Blissful Blossoms Stamp Set

by Maryam Perez

Hello, friends! This is Maryám and today I’m going to be sharing some ideas on how to use the gorgeous Blissful Blossoms Stamp Set. This 6 x 8 layering stamp set features a group of three flowers, two single flowers, three sets of leaves, and eight sweet sentiments. In addition, there is also a coordinating die set available!

For today’s post, I decided to do something a little bit different, and create some DIY mini notebooks. These notebooks are easy to make and are a perfect gift that will surely make the recipient smile.

To create these notebooks, I started by stamping all of the flowers and leaves from the stamp set. I stamped about two or three of each one in different colors and to make my mass-producing process easy, I used my stamp positioning tool.

Once I finished with all the stamping, I grabbed my Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine and cut all the images with the help of the coordinating die set.

Creating the covers

Now, to make my notebook covers, I started by cutting four A2 size panels (4 ¼” x 5 ½” inches) out of white cardstock. Following up, I did some ink blending in two of them using the new Canyon Clay Crisp Dye Ink and the large Ink Blending Tool. For the other two panels, I decided to simply leave them in white, but I used the Dotted Starburst Debossing Cover Die to give some extra texture to one of them.

Then, I put all the images I stamped before over my desk and started playing with different compositions for each one of the covers until I decided on the ones I wanted to keep. To adhere the pieces in place, I used liquid adhesive and tried to keep everything in just one layer. This is because when people eventually use these notebooks, it’ll be easier for them to write or draw since the cover will be completely flat.

To embellish the covers, I stamped some sentiments from the same stamp set using Obsidian Pigment Ink in some of them. And for the others, I used and embossed sentiment I white, and my name’s initial M for which I used the Linear Pathway Alpha – Solid Die Set.

Let's take one more look at the notebooks!

Last but not least, I added the inner sheets and the back covers punched some holes, and tied everything together with some white embroidery thread.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you liked the project I shared using the gorgeous Blissful Blossoms Stamp Set. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section below. I’ll be happy to help you.

Hope you have an awesome day!
