Hi Friends,
For my project today, I am sharing a Mini Mixed Media Art Canvas! I had a tiny canvas with a stand in my stash that I have wanted to use for a while, so I made a little art piece to put in my craft space. I recently got my hands on the Metallic Watercolors as well, which I really wanted to try out too.

Die cut the flower and two of the leaves from the newly released Layered Wood Flower Die Set with thick white card stock or watercolor paper. Color them in using various paints from the Metallic Watercolor Set, the lovely shimmer is very hard to capture in a photograph.

It was definitely love at first sight using these beautiful watercolors … My inner magpie was very happy! Set the pieces aside to dry and assemble with a clear drying glue.

To add some subtle texture to the canvas, apply Embossing Paste with a palette knife through the Broken Chevron Stencil. Dry the paste completely and add some splatters with the Jet Black Spray Ink. To finish add the die cut pieces with strong glue.
Thank you for stopping by!
I hope that you all enjoyed the tutorial as much as I loved making this mixed media canvas! You can check out more of my mixed media projects and videos by clicking here. If you have any questions, please do leave a comment here on the blog and let me know what you think!
