Hello, friends!
Nathalie with you today to share a fun die cutting idea for your memory keeping layouts. I love creating my pages from a white canvas. Being able to manipulate paper and color to bring a memory to live is so rewarding. Every month, I love playing with all the new Altenew releases and seeing how they transform my photos to keepsakes. Today, I am going to show you how a bit of ink and a few dies can create this beautiful page:
Let’s start:
First, we need to create a background for the page. I am using an ink blending tool and inks (Sea Shore Mini Ink Cube Set, Northern Shore Mini Ink Cube Set) to add color. Then, the Grid Cover Die brings detail and texture to the inked panels.
Embellish time!
The new Layered Wood Flower Die Set and Just Leaves Die Set provide the embellishments for the page. The key to build these rapidly is Altenew’s Double-Sided Adhesive Sheets. Since I want to bring a feel of winter to the page, I am staying within a cool color palette.
The combination of the angular lines of the background and the soft florals result in a cohesive page. While the bright but cool color palette helps to add the feel of the season to the memory.
I have created a video that shows you how the page came together. You can watch it here or on Altenew’s YouTube channel in HD:
I hope this inspires you to pull your Altenew goodies to create a memory keeping layout of your own.
There is magic in dies, stamps, and inks… It is up to you to mix and match them to create that one-of-a-kind project. Remember to share with us your finished projects. We love seeing your work with Altenew’s products.
XO
