Scrapbook and Journal Projects feat. New Washi Tapes

by Reiko Tsuchida

Hello there, Altenew friends! It’s Reiko here today, and I would like to share with you a 6×6-inch scrapbook layout, a mini  album page, and a journal idea using the Altenew's new washi tapes.

The first project I want to share is a 6×6-inch scrapbook layout made using the Foiled Marble Washi Tape and Red Sunset Slim Washi Tape Set.

How to create 6×6-inch scrapbook page:

This picture is showing how I've covered 6×6 white card stock by using the washi tapes. I really love this beautiful foiled marble washi tape! Red gradation washi tapes are also pretty and good for many projects.

Then, I added cut-out flowers from the Monochrome Washi Tape and a matted picture.

Fun thing I did this time was creating a die-cut title by using the Red Sunset Slim Washi Tape Set. I really love how this turned out!

A Mini Book Page:

I added thin red washi tapes onto a mini book page. It was an easy and nice way to add colors without cutting papers.

Journal Pages:

The last project I tried was decorating my journal pages instead of using markers. I used pink and orange washi tapes for my pages.

That’s all for today! Thank you so much for visiting the Altenew Mixed Media Blog. I hope you enjoyed reading about my process and will feel inspired to try making your own projects.

〜Reiko
