3 Colorful Memory Keeping Projects featuring Book Engravings Stamp Set (+Video Tutorial)

Hello, Crafty Friends!

Today, I want to share 3 colorful memory keeping projects featuring Altenew's Book Engravings Stamp Set. This new stamp set is gorgeous! The delicate design of the flower images is perfect for all types of paper crafting. The outline stamp is simple and detailed; this allows you to use your favorite coloring medium to make it your own.

I have created 3 very different memory keeping projects that will show you how versatile this stamp set is.  Let's start!

•  Pocket Page  Layout

The delicate design and size of the images in the Book Engravings Stamp set are ideal for a focal point in a pocket page.     The simple gray accents to the flowers emphasizes the detail of the flowers, while the soft green of the leaves enhances the simplicity of the design.

The colorful paper from the Enjoy The Ride collection are the ideal background for the soft flower die cuts.   Just a few color accent pops complement and finish the layout.

• Bible Journaling Layout

One of my favorite ways to document my faith is through Bible Journaling.    I am using the Book Engravings Simple Coloring Stencil to help me create the large floral cluster on this page.  The mask set provides a barrier that enables multiple stamped layers to be joined without compromising their integrity.

 

Since the large three floral images form a single image, a bit of fussy cutting is needed to create the die cut.  Adding a few single white flowers and a few leaves help to enlarge the cluster making it stand out on the mixed media background of the page ( Watercolor Brush Markers- Autumn Festival Set).

• Large Format Notebook Layout

Once again, I am combining the new Book Engravings Stamp set with the Book Engravings Simple Coloring  stencil.    These two are the best way to create a well balanced frame around the layout.    Since the pages of the notebook are a soft gray color; all the yellow flowers ( Summer Afternoon Crisp Dye Ink mini Cube Set) contrast and complement the background.
