Hello crafty friends!
Nathalie here to share a fun idea on creating notepad covers with the Wildflower collection. I am sure that most of you always have a small notepad/sticky notes pad at hand. Well, how about beautifying them (they make the perfect gift!). Altenew's products are so versatile is so easy to use them for all sorts of paper crafting. Let me show you the projects…
These are easy to construct from patterned paper, all you need is a scoring board, a decorative edger ( Creative Edger: Scalloped Scallop Die Set), a Bone Folder, and a few embellishments. They come together in a short amount of time, and the best part is you can customize them to fit your style.
The covers are built as a set of flaps that wrap around the notepad -think matchbox packages-. The key is create the cover to sit flush against the shape of the notepad. This means that measuring the thickness of the pad will determine the creases in the paper strip/flaps.
Once the notepad cover has been creased, then it is all about adding details. A delicate edge on the front flap, followed by a small embellishment cluster is all you need. This cover features a piece from the Wildflower Collection Bitty Bits Ephemera, and a s simple sentiment strip -Goals Stamp set-
Here is another idea for creating notepad covers with the Wildflower collection. This time, I am using left over flowers (Craft-a-Flower: Cistus Layering Die set) to create my top-flap cluster. A bit of Instant Dimension Foam Tape, a small sentiment ( Mini Delight: Petite Posy stamp & die set), and enamel dots are all you need to DIY the cover.

I hope these inspire you to create your own notepad covers using Altenew's paper collections, dies, stamps and other products. Remember to share your projects, I would love to see what you created!
