Hi Friends,
Today I am sharing three mixed media techniques with the new Tropical Leaf Die Set. I fell in love with the original Leaf Mix Die Set, so I was delighted when another version of the die set was released!
The two die sets can easily be layered together to create some beautiful effects.
For my blog post, I made three projects:

Mixed Media Art Journal

- Start by gluing die cut white card stock using Tropical Leaf Mix Die with clear drying glue. Let it dry
- Apply a thin layer of gesso. Let it dry completely.
- Mist lightly with water and drip Mango Smoothie and Just Green Liquid Watercolor on to page.
- Mist with more water if needed and move the ink around.
- Dry and repeat to achieve desired depth of color.
- Add layered die cut from All About You Word Die Set.

Mixed Media Art Card

- On a thick card stock 4″x5.25″ panel drip Mango Smoothie and Just Green Liquid Watercolor.
- Add mist of water if needed to get the colors to blend. Set aside to dry
- Die another piece of white 4″x5.25″ cardstock using various dies from Tropical Leaf Mix Die
- Glue panels to each other and add to A2 card base using Foam Tape.
- Add layered die cut from All About You Word Die Set.
Heat Embossed Art Card

- Die cut three leaf shapes from Tropical Leaf Mix Die in black card stock.
- Add Embossing Ink to just the tips of the leafs and lightly sprinkle with Rose Gold and Copper Crisp Embossing Powder.
- Heat set embossing powder.
- Glue to 4″x5.25″ and add layered die cut from All About You Word Die Set.
- Attach to A2 card with Foam Tape

Thank you for stopping by!
