Today I am sharing a mixed media art journal using slightly more moody colors than I normally use. To create this art journal page, I used 6 x 8 navy blue card stock which I punched with disc bound planner punch.
Start by roughly mixing Lagoon and Sunkissed Shimmer Ink Spray with Embossing Paste. Do not over mix so that it gives a variegated look to the finished result. Apply mixture with a palette knife through Elegant Swirls Stencil making sure to feather the edges. Dry completely with a heat tool.
Stamp and heat embossing sentiment from Gardenia Duo Stamp Set with White Crisp Embossing Powder. Create splatters on the background with Antique Gold and Pure White Spray. Set aside to dry completely.
Heat emboss flowers and leaves from Gardenia Duo Stamp Set with White Crisp Embossing Powder on sturdy heat-resistant vellum and cut out with matching die. To complete,adhere to art journal page with clear drying glue and add Satin White Sequins to finish.

Love the planner page idea! A newbie I wonder where to get heat resistant velum …. And how do you pick those holes for the top of the planner? Keep those ideas coming!
