Easy Scrapbooking Inspiration

by Lilith Eeckels

Hello, Altenew fans. Lilith here with some crafting inspiration.

Do you ever get stuck and run out of inspiration? This summer I felt I had lost all inspiration and but really wanted to create so I decided to go through my old layouts and scraplift one of them. What does SCRAPLIFT mean? It is when you use a layout and copy it. You can stay really close to the inspiration piece or move away from it entirely. This is the layout that inspired me. You can check out the process video and blog post here.

I drew inspiration from the three pieces of paper with a black/white design. I created my own paper using the Woven Stripes Stamp Set. Then I added some embellishments which I made using the Mesmerizing Pours 6X6 Paper Pack. I cut out circles and butterflies (Mix and Match Mariposa Die Set).

I kept the design the same but used an 8.5 by 11 paper instead of a 12 by 12. The title was created using the Waterbrush Hello Die Set and a sentiment stamp from the Woven Stripes Stamp Set. Some black ink splatters finish it off.

I loved creating this layout. You can see it was inspired by my previous one but it is still very different.

What do you do when your crafting mojo is on a low?

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you soon.

I Really like both layouts. Thank you for the inspiration. When I’m on a crafting Low I listen to global chill radio on Pandora and sit in my space watch a video like yours above and try to get a page complete. I also just sit in my craft space and organize when I really feel stuck. Hope you can move and flow easily in you creativity.
